All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understood and agree to abide, and be bound, by the below Terms and Conditions, House Rules and Cancellation Policy.
The person who is stated on the booking and who has paid for the booking agrees that Banjos Way if needed can debit the security bond for any of the items listed and not included below. Keys will only be given to the person on the booking.
All holiday accommodation properties are Smoke Free, and no pets allowed without exception.
Keys will only be issued once you have paid all accommodation/bond/booking fees. Keys will only be given to the person on the booking.
Check in 4pm check out 10am (there are no late check outs or early check ins in winter due to the high volume of bookings and work needed to be done on change over).
We ask guests to respect and be responsible as it is expected that the property and furnishings be returned in the same condition at the end of a stay as at the beginning.
If you exceed the maximum occupancy any or all persons of the property will be evicted.

You will be charged a $50.00 booking fee and 100% of your accommodation and security bond at the time of making a booking.

Terms When Booking Direct and Via Online Travel Agents
The property is let to the person stated on the booking for the purposes of holiday rental for the period specified in the booking confirmation. Failure to adhere to the terms and conditions stated below can result in the termination of the booking with no refund and forfeit of the bond.
Bookings will only be confirmed once a full amount has been paid.
Failure to meet the above terms may lead to the automatic cancellation of your booking without notice and the appropriate cancellation fees applied.
Payment for bookings can be made by debit/credit card.

Cancellations
Cancellation of a booking or request to change dates must be in writing and must be received/finalised by Banjos Way before your scheduled arrival date by email on banjosway@gmail.com.

Bookings cancelled outside 60 days prior to the arrival date will receive a 50% refund of the cost of the accommodation paid and 100% of the bond, this excludes the booking fee of $50 and any credit card fees.

Bookings cancelled between 60-0 days prior to the arrival date will lose 100% of the accommodation paid but receive 100% of the bond, this excludes the booking fee of $50 and any credit card fees.

Refunds are not permitted for circumstances that include but not limited to; change of travel plans, disruption to transportation to your accommodation, illness, unfavourable weather forecasts or lack of access to attractions including the National Park or Ski Resorts.
No refunds will be given for COVID or any government lockdowns. Please make sure you have private insurance to protect yourself.
Payment Processing
All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars.
All payments will be processed by Site Minder (when boking direct and security bonds when booking via an online travel agent).
Credit Card fees are non-refundable.
When booking/purchasing from Banjos Way, card details are transmitted through a secure server using SiteMinder Pay. Card data is not kept by Banjos Way after processing.
When paying by credit card Site Minders compliant reservation system encrypts and saves those details to enable Banjos Way to automatically process any further payments on your behalf. These charges may be for Balance payments, Security Bond, excess cleaning or damages.

Term and Conditions of Tenancy
Check-in
Check-in is from 4pm onwards and check-out is strictly 10am; late checkout fee may apply if this is not adhered to. We cannot allow access for storage of refrigerated items or any other items prior to 4pm. When the property is ready for check in, instructions will be issued by text message to the mobile phone number on the booking. Under no circumstances will access be issued without the full accommodation and security being paid in full. Please note that due to constant back-to-back turn arounds and heavy workloads in winter, delays may be experienced for check-ins during peak periods.

Party Policy
Zero Tolerance. Our houses are for family holidays and are in a residential area. We require an undertaking from guests not to have parties, events, gatherings or partake in antisocial behaviour and give an assurance that the property rented is for the use of registered guests and for the use of those people only. If this is not adhered to you will be evicted with no refund and bond kept.
A Caretaker is located on site and monitors this.

Cancellations
Any cancelation by the owner you will receive a full refund (this does not include termination due to Tenants not abiding by Terms and Conditions).

Bond
The holiday guest is charged the security bond for the property booked at the time of booking.
$1000.00 for properties that sleep 10 people.
$500.00 for properties that sleep 4 people.
This security deposit is held against claims for late departure, excess rubbish, additional cleaning and damage to the property or its contents. The liability of the holiday tenant shall be the full cost of all excess charges and/or repairs whatever that may be. The deposit will be paid back, less any charges, to the holiday tenant within 10 days of departure. The security bond will be paid back by way of bank deposit to the person on the booking. They will need to provide their details of their bank account so I can be returned via a bank transfer.
The tenant agrees to leave the property in a clean and tidy state with rubbish removed, all washing up done and dishwasher cycle commenced. Excess rubbish that does not fit into the bins at the property must be disposed of responsibly by the tenant. Any costs for cleaning above the standard items that our cleaners do must be paid for by the tenant. This will start from $100.
Number of Occupants. (10 per unit for Banjos 1 and 2) and (4 for banjos 3), unless otherwise previously agreed with the Agent/Property Owner. All holiday accommodation must only be used for private, residential usage only and to accommodate the number of guests agreed upon at the time of booking. This number must not be exceeded under any circumstances. No function or parties may be conducted at the property under any circumstances. Exceeding the stated number of guests will result in a termination of your booking and you may be required to vacate the Holiday Accommodation immediately without refund. Charges for any additional guests will be $200 Per person per night debited from your bond without further notice.
A caretaker that lives on site and makes this policy is strictly adhered to.
Any and all damages (accidental or otherwise) to the property, common areas or fixtures and fittings of the property must be reported to the agent immediately and paid for.
No responsibility will be taken for personal belongings of the guest. Any required insurance for your belongings must be arranged by yourself. All guests are responsible for keeping the property secure throughout their stay and upon vacating. Any theft or damage due to not securing the property shall be the responsibility of the holiday tenant. Please take the usual steps to prevent any property loss, including locking premises and vehicles when not attended.
No liability is accepted by the agent or property owner for any injury, debt, damage, loss, delay or inconvenience caused by events outside the agent or owners’ control.
Unless otherwise specifically stated, pets are not permitted upon the property. If the tenant brings a pet onto or in the property, they will be charged a minimum of $300 for cleaning. This will be debited from the bond.
Tenants locked out of premises outside working hours who require us to deliver keys to them must pay a $60.00 fee. If a trades person is required, the tenant will be responsible for the payment of the trade person’s account. Any keys which are lost or not given back will be liable for the replacement of the lock and a set of 4 keys, this is approx. $350. This will be debited from the bond.
All property interiors are non-smoking. Holiday tenants failing to abide by this term will be responsible for the cost of cleaning all carpet, furnishings and window coverings and any costs associated with ensuring tampered alarms are operational. All the above costs will be debited from the bond.
The guest agrees to allow the agent and/or appointed tradesperson to enter onto the property at any time to effect or investigate repairs or complaints.
What to bring – All of our properties are self-contained which includes linen, a small complimentary supply of kitchen and bathroom essentials and all kitchens are equipped with pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery. Properties are privately owned and furnished to an individual owner’s standard.
